Our first Craft & Coffee session

18th April 2015.

 

 

Our first craft & coffee session today at Community Church Jubilee Centre, Paddock Huddersfield.

 

We had a lady called Lucy who lives locally, came to show us her collection of home-made jewellery, demonstrations of various styles were given ,this varied from kuhimo braiding  what is basically eight different coloured threads that are moved round a round disc in certain pattern to create beautiful round braids, viking styile chains, with matching ear-rings macrame' / shambala style bracelets.

 

Gill - made a patchwork tea-cosy,
 

Stella - worked on some art 
 

Pam - worked on some beautiful lace maklng,
 

Carole - made a knitting needle roll holder
 

Richard - animation work and face mask out of clay and bandages 
 

I worked on peppa pig jumper

 

We all had a super time, i just want to say a great big thank you to all the ladies who came, and to Carole for coming up with the idea.
 

I Look forward to our next Craft & coffee session in May, and hope to see you all again. Everyone welcome
